Oakham, historically served contractors in the west Midlands, manufacturing flashings, gutters, downpipes and general fabrications right up until the pandemic in early 2020 when the company was furloughed until June 2021.
In June 2021, Oakham was back in business with new owners and a fresh management team and a slight name tweak. Oakham has picked where they left off back in 2020 and is now increasing its coverage to the rest of the UK.
Significant investment has been made in systems, personnel and machinery with more investment planned. Oakham has added 4000mm CNC shear & press brake capacity within the last twelve months. Additional machinery will be added in 2022.
The company operates in association with another long-established cladding fabricator called JPM Pressbrake based nearby in Brierley Hill and considerable manufacturing resources exist between both sites.
