Established in 1975, MAC Roofing & Contracting is a family business that has grown to become one of the country’s leading installers of roofing and cladding systems. Over a period spanning five decades, we have been trusted to deliver countless waterproofing installations on both new build and refurbishment projects, working on some of the most prestigious buildings in the UK.
With an experienced team of over 330 people, a turnover in excess of £52 million, and strategic offices situated around the UK, MAC has the capacity to take on projects of any size, in any location. We have an extremely wide skill-set, with the ability to install a diverse range of envelope protection systems. We also have an in-house aluminium fabrication facility, offering clients assistance with specialist designs and tailored solutions for each project. As well as bespoke, one-off specials, we manufacture and install a comprehensive range of system options, including solutions for building facades, windows & doors, soffits & fascias and rainwater drainage.
Quality assurance is essential to every project we deliver. We have a dedicated Defects Avoidance Manager and all QA is managed through Fieldview, a cloud-based mobile application which allows our project teams to capture, share and report data in a real time environment. We also take a professional and pro-active approach towards health and safety and are committed to continuous improvement in this area. We are proud of our safety performance and all sub-contractors under our umbrella must also adhere to the high HSEQ standards set by MAC.
MAC has a dedicated in-house technical team & design department, delivering full support from concept to completion. We offer independent, impartial advice, ensuring a ‘best-fit’ solution for every project and are perfectly placed to assist with roof design and BIM modelling. We work in close collaboration with supply chain partners to deliver high performance & cost-effective waterproofing solutions, efficiently managing documentation flow via BIM360.
In addition we have a cost-based consultancy service that helps clients manage the financial and commercial risks on their construction project. This ensures that the best approach is taken at the earliest possible stage in a project, helping clients to drive design efficiencies. In addition, our
supply chain relationships ensure best value when it comes to procuring materials, enabling clients to achieve their project objectives with certainty.
Environmental and social responsibility are also close to our heart, and we actively promote the use of sustainable building solutions wherever possible. We have stringent procedures to minimise waste of materials and energy both in the office and on site, and are dedicated to working with like-minded supply chain partners who share this commitment.
